Breath-taking picture.

Pictures of old soldiers, memorials, statues - they all always bring memories to me. This speaks to me in a powerful way because these soldiers have been through battles and wars to protect the country.

The focus on the main subject (which is the soldier in front) is great - you zoomed on the soldier only and not the one behind him nor the trees in the background. The black-and-white makes it all more interesting and eye-catching and the look the soldier is giving is very much like the Mona Lisa, looking off somewhere with no idea what they could be looking at.

From the look of it, it look like you captured this picture in Washington DC if I remember these statues correctly. And great job on this photo! Very well done.
